Wow.... keepin up with the Jones' is even a little hard for me now-a-days! I am WAY overdue for an update! We have been SO busy lately! Even as I type this, I'm sure there is something that I should be doing but I guess it will have to wait.
So, let's see....
We are down to the last week of the baseball/softball season....the culprit of our hectic schedule! I think that our baseball and softball coaches got together one night before the season started and decided to coordinate their schedules to match. We have had practices and games on the same days, at the same times everyday! Mark and I have been running in opposite directions all month! We love ball season, though, and have really enjoyed watching both kids play this year!
Saturday would have been Chase's last game (before the city tournaments); However, there is a 3-way tie for 1st place and our team is in the running! We will have a few play-off games tomorrow night to see who will take the #1 spot. Go Astros!!!
Kayli has had a lot of fun this season. Her final game will be Tuesday night after a double-header....it's going to be a LONG night. It's fun to watch her play, even if she is mostly there just to socialize. I'm not sure if she will play again next year but she has done great and we are really proud of her! Go Hornets!!!
Mark has been busy with work and is finally starting to get more comfortable with his new position. He finally put the last board up on the fence yesterday....Thank Goodness! I hope I never see another piece of wood or a nail gun as long as I live and I know he feels the same way! We went through 4 boxes of 1000 nails.....4000 NAILS! Maybe now we can get started on....just kidding, honey! hehe! I promise no more projects for awhile!
This week is the last week of school for the kids. However, it is also my last week of freedom before I start my summer classes. I have finally transferred to Athens State and will be taking classes on Redstone Arsenal this semester. I am not looking forward to the drive to Huntsville but I am ready to get started on classes that will actually be useful. Wish me luck..I'm going to need it because I am taking 4 classes this semester! Yikes!
I guess that about wraps it up. I will try harder to update more often!
Good Night from the Jones'!
That made me exhausted just reading it! Good luck to the 'stros!!!
